5. How children react to old computers. Listening

LISTENING - The students will view this video called "Kids react to old computers" - 6th grade.

 


 

 

 

Then the students will have to answer the following questions:

 

1. How did the children react to that old computer? Did they like it?

2. When was that kind of computer made?

3.  Is it east to turn it on? Why?

4. Do they have a mouse?

5. What do you prefer, old computers or modern computers?

6. Why do they have to turn the computer off and on again after introducing the floppy disc?

7. Do modern computers have a processor? Why?

8. Would most of the children like to have one of these old computers? Why?

2. Five internet safety tips. Speaking


6th grade.

After watching the following video, we are going to talk about the five safety tips and discuss why they are so important.

 


 

We will answer all these questions:

 

  1. Do you remember any of the safety tips mentioned? Do you remember the other tips mentioned?

  2. Why is it so important not to give your personal information to anyone?

  3. Why is it so important not to send any photos to unknown people?

  4. Why you should always talk to your parents if you receive any strange message?

  5. Why you should not download anything without your parent’s permission?


Now in groups of four, you are going to create another tip that you consider important and you would include in this list. The tip should include an explanation with it. 

 

Once everybody has their tip and explanation, one volunteer of each team is going to read it to the rest of the class.
