I liked this activity a lot, the video is very interesting, so I think the students are going to enjoy it. I like it also because some questions are open and I always like that students respond openly. Also, I consider the questions well posed. I think that not only will they go over the listening, they will see the evolution in the computers. If I had this activity I would highlight a phrase from a girl in the video that says: How can I do homework without internet? And the man answers: you go to the library. Nowadays it seems crazy not to do the homework of the school without a computer, I think sometimes it would be good to influence students to use books if they can too. To summarize I would like to congratulate you for the activity.
I really liked this entry because the issue of computers and new technologies in these ages is important to give it. In addition, it is true that we face the question of how our children react to old computers in a world in which everything is smart and sophisticated looking to occupy the least space. I think it's quite attractive to deal with this topic. congratulations!
I think the video you have posted here is amazing. It is true that kids react this way when they see an old computer. The questions are well proposed because students have to pay attention to the video to answer some of them. Furthermore, I think that this video gives the chance to our students to give their point of view about the topic which will be very interesting as we have seen in the video. Generally, I think that your blog gathers different ways to work the vocabulary about computers, working on the different aspects of the language (speaking, listening and use of English) and it is well designed to 6th-grade students because the resources (videos, worksheets, crossword) are very attractive for them. Congratulations! Goretti
Very interesting video, AS you can see on the video, some kids doesn´t know what is it, but there is normal. It is possible that in 20 years, children will ask about our tecnologies, but like in the video they will try to see the functions.
